How to Remove Allergens from the Air You Breathe

Most people think of allergens as something that are outside. After all, outdoor pollution has had lot of media attention for many years. Certainly there are many allergens in the air that we breathe outside, but often there are just as many inside the home or office as there are outdoors. These are sometimes blown in through an open door or window, but just as often they form inside the room from smokers, pet hair and dander, or moulds that grow in damp areas. Then there is the dust that simply accumulates in a home. All these elements are potentially harmful and in some cases can cause life-threatening health problems.

It is necessary to treat the problem of indoor pollution by installing some kind of air purifier such as blueair, or a hepa air purifier. Air purifiers work by releasing positive and negative ions into the atmosphere that help to break down harmful allergens. Often you will notice more dust on the shelves and cupboards after installing a room air purifier. This is because it is no longer floating around unnoticed in the atmosphere – and being breathed in by you.

Air purifiers for allergies will make life much more healthy and pleasant for allergy sufferers who are so often troubled with itchy, irritated eyes and sore throats. Air filters such as the air purifier hepa will even reduce pet dander, the tiny skin flakes left behind when your pet scratches or licks itself.

In the office pollution occurs from carpet filaments that break off and float in the air, people with colds and flu, dust, products of different kinds and from outside contamination. Often in office buildings that depend on an air conditioner for fresh air, the indoor pollutants build up over time and cause many health problems. But if there was an air ionizer purifier installed this would not be a problem.
