It's no wonder that the healthcare industry follows suit, given that we live in a digital age. From wearables' data-driven insights to Healthcare IT Solutions to smartphone apps that help manage chronic conditions, it's apparent that technology is forever changing healthcare.

The most recent innovations in healthcare technology include online medicine, telemedicine services, patient engagement technologies, and robotic process automation. According to the 2021 Future of Healthcare Report, nearly 80% of healthcare systems plan to increase their investment in these digital healthcare trends during the next five years.

Healthcare trades were hot in the first nine months of 2021. According to Rock Health, they raised $21.3 billion in venture financing in 541 agreements, eclipsing the previous high of $14.6 billion set in 2020.

Need of an Hour: Digital Healthcare

Artificial Intelligence (AI), Advanced Analytics, Data Analysis, Cyber Security, Integrated Mobility Management, and Omni-Channel Marketing are all hot topics right now. Wearable technologies, quantum computing, organ 3-D printing, and robots are all hot subjects right now. AI will, in particular, streamline processes, enhance accuracy, and provide a 360-degree view of patients' issues.

Patients in northern European countries such as Sweden, Norway, and Latvia use mobile phones to access electronic medical records, demonstrating that digital health use is progressing globally (EMRs). Even small provinces in China use kiosks to enter patient data for hospital admission. In the United States, EMR adoption is at 96 percent. India is doing a fantastic job, but there is still much more to be done.
