You may come to a point where you need to have an additional internet connection in your home. It could be because you just bought a new and additional computer for your house that needs an internet connection, or just want to have a computer network in your home. But whatever is the reason, you just got to have it.

To help you with that, here are some of the things you can do in order to have an additional internet connection in your home.

1.            First of all, ensure that you already have an existing internet connection in your home. If you don’t have, then apply first on your local internet provider. Now if you already have one, you can continue. You must also have an additional cable, if you use a cable internet, which you will need in order to connect your new computer to the internet connection. You can buy this cable on your local electronic shop or you can ask for one from your internet provider, which will cost you additional money. You must also have a splitter.

2.            Once you have the necessary materials, it is now time to set up your additional internet connection. First, connect the main cable wire on the internet modem. Then, connect the other end of the wire to the splitter. Remember, the splitter will allow you to connect two wires on it. Then, connect the two cables on it; one is for your existing computer and the other one is for the new one. Connect the wires on your computer and test your internet connection.
