For the advanced and experienced riders Roundhill offers the world's steepest and longest rope tow with the vertical drop of 783m, biggest in Australia. Along with these are long natural chutes and half pipes making it a very interesting run. For the more experienced riders the two thumbs range would be exciting. Central Park in Roundhill offers the freestylers a fantastic place with jumps, rollers, boxes and rails for everyone to enjoy and have fun.
Mackenzie offers plenty of opportunities for shopping. It has craft shops, galleries and much more. They also have a wide range of restaurants offering a variety of cuisines from seafood to steaks to pastas and more.

Roundhill Nz does not have any on-mountain accommodation. But that should not be a cause of concern as Mackenzie offers a wide range of accommodations from holiday homes to hotels to farm stays and home stays to serviced apartments. These are available in moderate price ranges and you can choose your stay based on your comfort and affordability. You can easily find places to stay within a range of 1 hour travel from Roundhill.
Facilities In The Ski Area
Roundhill provides the basic facilities on the mountain. They have a day lodge with a canteen. Ski equipments are available for hire including skis, boards, harness and nutcracker. Roundhill also has a school for learning snowboard and skiing skills which are at very reasonable prices.
This place is considered to be one of the most inexpensive places for skiing and snowboarding from all over New Zealand. Commercial ski areas in south island are in Canterbury and otago.
