Good sleep contributes a lot to healthier body. To sleep well a room which is comfortable and cozy is needed. An ideal cozy room comfortable to sleep should not be filled with television, computer and work material as it creates lot of distraction. Watch in the bedroom causes anxiety and insomnia because seeing the watch makes you feel that you have over slept, to avoid this anxiety set the alarm and hide it before sleeping. Mattresses and the pillows used should be of good quality and comfortable to sleep on. Room should be neat and clean which helps in relaxing the body and eyes.

Facilities for better sleep:

Dark curtains should be used which can enable the light to enter the room, which can awake early in the morning. All the things like water and bathroom which are needed during night should be available in the room otherwise it distracts the sleep. Slightly cool room contributes to good sleep as it matches the temperature inside the body. There should always be arrangement of the season like in summer’s coolers and in winters blanket to keep away from cold is needed. To avoid noise disturbance ear plugs, heavy curtains, drapes, double pane windows should be used. Always listen to the relaxing music or tapes in the room before sleeping as it relaxes the mind and body to great extend a lot. Uncomfortable mattresses make falling asleep difficult and lead to restless slumber.

Requirements of a cozy room:

A cozy room should have a mattresses made of inner springs, foam, fabric, water or air. These kinds of mattresses are more responsive to the body and more firmly that positively affects body temperature, humidity and comfort of the body. Bed should be used only for sleep and regular wake up schedule should be followed. Cozy room should be such that it relaxes the person so that he can think relaxing thoughts. Always wear cozy and comfortable pajamas while sleeping to get deep and sound sleep. Even after making many arrangements one suffers sleeplessness, than consulting a doctor will be advisable he can help out to make the room more comfortable and cozy for good sleep.
