The first rule for creating a brand mark for a dinette is to make sure that it reflects two main characteristics of your dining place. It should reflect the type of meals that you are serving to your customers and the atmosphere of the place.

Let that be your guiding factor throughout the process.

Whether the dining place is casual or formal, serves Chinese or Mexican, the images and colors that you use in your business image should reflect accordingly.

Here are a few food logo samples ideas for different type of dining experiences:

1. Chinese restaurant:

The feel of Chinese places is usually one of energy and imagination. For that, you can use images of fire breathing dragons, chop sticks or a bowl of soup to give the design an oriental touch. Use tones of red color in your design as they are dominant colors in the Chinese culture and also symbolize spirit and liveliness.

2. Dessert place:

Sweetness with a touch of creativity should be the overall feel of a dessert place trademark. For that you can use an image of a chocolate covered strawberry or a swirly and colorful illustration of a cupcake or simply a pair of artistically drawn dessert spoons with the company name. Here, you can use warm colors like brown to give a comfort food feeling to the design.

3. Five star restaurant:

The five star hotel logos tend to be a bit more sophisticated than the rest. Instead of using eatable's images, they usually simply consist of the restaurant name in curvy fonts with a swirly abstract symbol accompanying it. You can use dark colored text on a neutral colored background to make the design look stylish and classy.

4. Fast food Dinettes:

Fast food dinettes trademarks are usually bright, energetic and consist of images of the type of meals they are offering. Red and yellow colors are most dominantly used in these places as red is energetic, enthusiastic and eye catching and yellow signifies laughter, good times and optimism. For example, if you are designing a logo for a local burger place, then you can use tones of red and yellow in the design along with an image of a burger or a chicken.

5. Organic dining places:

For an organic food logo, you can use illustrations of fresh fruits and vegetables with the restaurant name and use bright colored text on a white background to give a hygienic and clean feel to the image.

6. Café:

For cafes, you can use illustrations of a steaming cup and saucer or coffee beans in your brand mark to give a warm feeling to the customers. Brown color can be dominantly used in the trademark as it is the color of coffee and gives an impression of warmth to the design.

So, there you have different ideas for different dining out places to make brand mark as delicious as the meals you offer.
