Much like professional sports, todays computer games need also professional gear. You might think it’s too much to spend on gaming peripherals after you have beefed up the specs of your PC and turned it into a gaming beast. But if you’re going to spend hours on your PC slaying dragons or shooting zombies, your hands and wrists will thank you if you invest on good gaming peripherals. Specifically designed to be ergonomic, gaming peripherals can offer comfort and better gameplay when used.

Keyboard

Using a keyboard to play games on your PC is not such a good experience when you are playing MMOs, FPS and RPGs. Usually used to control movement, and certain actions, buttons are often spaced far apart and the usual gamer will tend to peek and press before he can execute a certain action. In fast paced games a slip of the finger can mean defeat. If you have these problems then switch out to a Gameboard. These peripherals have programmable keys effectively allowing you to customize how you play for each game. Most gameboards feature a rest for the wrist for added comfort.

Mouse

Gaming mice are the cream of the crop when we are talking about computer mice. The usual mouse would normally have 4 buttons, the left, the right, the mouse wheel and some the 2x click, but a gaming mouse is a set up to that. Aside from those buttons, a gaming mouse can also include two more buttons for the thumb. An even radical design has surfaced that allow you to actually change the dimensions of the mouse to for a better fit in your palm.

Headphones

If you still have cash left to spend, spend it on a good pair of headphones, gaming headphones that have a nice puffy cushion for comfort from prolonged use. It must also cover the ear do drown out the outside noise for a truly immersive gaming experience. If also doesn’t hurt that it has Bluetooth connectivity. A good set of headphones must have good bass sound to feel the oomph and give justice to the sound track of the game. There are also headphone that provide haptic feedback while playing, like when playing FPS, the headphones will vibrate when you are shoot or near an explosion.

Investing on gaming peripherals can make or break your gameplay and give you the best gaming experience money can buy.
