Cardrona Ski Resort is in the South Island of New Zealand. Cardrona is between Queenstown and Wanaka. It takes less than an hour to reach these towns. Arcadia Chutes and Tulip Chutes are areas the expert skiers and snowboarders will enjoy. They also have instructors to help you learn or improve your skills on skiing and snowboarding.
Cardrona ski field operators offer their tourists OnePassNZ, which allows the skiers and boarders to have unprecedented access to the neighboring ski areas which might be belonging to the nearby resorts like Mt Dobson, Roundhill, Porters Ski Field to name a few. They also have extensive and diverse winter walking trails for all abilities.
Accommodation and Other Facilities
Cardrona has a wide range of facilities from comfortable accommodations to medical care and child care for you. Cardrona has apartment accommodation on the mountain. You may require booking this in advance as these apartments are limited. These apartments are very near to the slopes.
The resort has an on-duty doctor available at all times. They also have physiotherapists available, for whom you will require to fix prior appointments.
They have a retail shop which has a broad variety of products from skiing gears to cosmetics and more. They also have Cafes and Restaurants catering to you a broad range for cuisines ranging from fast food and beverages to pizzas, noodles and meats to fresh juices and smoothies and much more.
Cardrona has a licensed nursery and ski kinder garden for children from the age of three months to four years old. They have trained staffs to take care of the babies, so you can ski and get back without any worries. They have instructors who are specialists in developing skills in children.
