In the past decade, there has been a tremendous rise in physical, mental as well as sexual disorders that have far reaching effects on the well being of the individual. The sexual disorders are one of the most difficult problems to cure. Several new ways of treatment have been deduced for treating the sexual disorders, especially the infertility problems. One of the most important and advanced methods for dealing with infertility and improving the chances of conceiving is the method of Intrauterine Insemination or IUI treatment.

Process of IUI

IUI treatment refers to planting of a sperm in the uterus in order to bypass the cervix. The sperm is washed of seminal fluid in order to help in conceiving. The IUI treatment is especially important for treating female infertility. The IUI treatment is used extensively to improve the chances of productivity. In the IUI process the sperm is placed with the help of a thin plastic cathetar. This cathetar passes through the vagina into the cervix. The IUI process is a very brief and painless process. The IUI process requires only a few minutes to be completed. The IUI treatment is always undertaken with the assistance of the fertility drugs like clomipheneor Pergonal. These drugs are essential for stimulating ovulation. This process of ovulation is followed by an HCG injection, which leads to the release of the egg.

IUI is conducted considering several factors like vaginal ultrasound, length of the previous cycles, BBT temperature graphs and LH correlation kits. This technique of artificial insemination is very useful and important for couples who are suffering from the problem of infertility and do not have the ability to reproduce. The insemination process uses sperm from the husband or from a sperm donor. The IUI method is implemented in two ways, namely, natural and ovulation induction. The IUI process requires the proper monitoring of ovulation and accordingly time the IUI properly. Another very important advantage of IUI is that it does not require anesthesia or any other drug on the patient. Once the IUI process is complete the individual needs to lie down for only about 15 minutes and can then leave the clinic and get back to the normal routine.

The intrauterine insemination is one of the basic and easiest ways for treating the problem of infertility.
