Keep out of reach of children all gardening equipments

Introduction:
Garden in front of a house looks very beautiful; plants provide fresh air and give a cooling effect to one�s eyes. Garden gives good look and it also increases property value, provide a place to walk and relax which is good for health in a life full of tensions.

Exposure of children to gardening equipments:

Maintaining garden is not an easy task, it requires lot of work to be done especially gardening equipments should be kept out of reach of children because some of them are dangerous.
Children may exploit the equipment by misusing them and make garden dirty. Some equipments may harm the children so to avoid that all things should be kept in a place away from children.

Equipments like lawn mowers, insecticides, pesticides, cutter and many more are being used in maintaining a garden. They need lots of maintenance and precautions to be taken. Children if get exposed to chemicals, it cause harm to their health. If they put their hand into lawn mower while it is being used then it will damage their hands and cause bleeding.

Lots of water is also needed while gardening, for that purpose a well or an pond is being used, if it is not being covered then small children will drown in small quantity of water also. If they get exposed to chemicals a lot, it will cause diseases like asbestosis that makes breathing difficult at a young age. Children may use the equipments in a wrong way; it causes damage to both the equipment and children. If they lift up the heavy equipment, it will cause damage to their muscles and bones.

Preventive measures:

There are many ways to prevent children from these equipments if some caution measures are being taken. Chemicals like insecticides and pesticides should be stored in a place which is out of reach of children; while they are being used children should not be allowed in the garden. If they want to use the equipments, there are special equipments for children. All one type of equipment should be kept at one place so as to avoid reaction and more monitoring. Blades of power machines should be cleaned only when it is disconnected from its power plug.

If possible inexpensive and non toxic should be used so avoid diseases. Well and ponds should be covered, children should be closely watched while they are playing in the garden.
