The times are changing very fast. In today’s times, you can transfer funds from one account to the other within a matter of seconds using your mobile banking applications. This is a wonderful achievement. However, it has its drawbacks as well. When we use the word drawbacks, we refer to the chances of pilferage of information. We refer to the fact that hackers can access this information from the internet and thereby gain access to your account. This can have dangerous repercussions. Does this imply that we must not use the mobile banking services? We are not suggesting any such thing. On the contrary, we suggest you to adopt stronger security measures and continue using such technology that is of great benefit to humanity. One such security measure is the use of ECC encrypted messaging. This brings us to the fact that the present systems might just not be strong enough to overcome such hack attacks. Let us see why these systems, though backed by the PGP security fail to provide the requisite security. The PGP is also a message encryption service. When you encrypt a message, you cannot decipher it without knowing the code. However, an intelligent hacker can take advantage of the smallest of loopholes. In this case, the PGP encrypts the message. However, it leaves the message header and the details of the sender and recipient intact. Many a time the message header can indicate what the message contains. Under such circumstances, encrypting the message would not be enough to maintain the secrecy when you can decipher the message contents with the help of the message header. The ECC 521 takes care of this shortcoming of the PGP system. It encrypts the entire message including the subject and the details of the recipient and sender. This makes the system more secure. When you send messages, you send photos and voice messages as well. The PGP system does not do anything with such types of communication. It is unable to do anything with the picture messages and voice exchanges. The hacker has everything ready on his plate. He need not rack his brains at all. However, the ECC 521 does not allow such leeway at all. It has the ability to encrypt the photo messages and other types of exchanges discussed above. This can again make the hacker scratch his head in despair. The PGP does not do anything with the contact list. Therefore, if the unscrupulous person gains entry into this list, he can create trouble. It has happened in the past where the hacker has made your contacts part with their money stating that you were in trouble. Since the message emanated from your email id, they thought that the request was genuine only to realize later on that someone had cheated you as well as them. With the ECC, the hacker cannot think of committing such mischief. The ECC 521 encrypts the contact list and secures the same inside the app. You need to have the access codes to open the message and procure the list. This is one more advantage of this system.
