The reproductive system of the human beings is still under lots of speculation. However with the advent of the science and technology the human reproductive system is explored like never before. The female reproductive system is based on the ovum synthesized in the ovaries. These ova become matured eggs to get fertilized with the sperms released from the male reproductive system. The ova released depend on the menstrual cycle in the body of a woman. The menstrual cycle of a woman completely depend on the sex hormones secreted by the endocrine glands. Thus to test the fertility and chalk out the perfect time for the intercourse it is necessary to test the ovulation period of a woman. The ovulation test gives the exact time when the ova are synthesized and released in the body thus accordingly one can plan the perfect time of intercourse. There are ovulation kits available in the market that has proved very successful in deciding the time of the intercourse.

How it works

The ovulation kits are used to test the time of ovulation and the chances of them fertilized. Leutinizing hormone is a type of sex hormone responsible for the maturation of the egg. Generally traces of this hormone are found in the urine of the woman. Thus the main aspect of the ovulation kit is to test the amount of hormone found in the urine of a female. At the time of ovulation the amount of the leutinizing hormone increases in the body. Thus more amount of the hormone is secreted through the urine when the ovulation comes closer. This test thus compares the present amount of the hormone with the standard during the normal condition and helps to deduce when the time of ovulation is.

How to make choice

There several of the ovulation kits available in the market but one must be very cautious while making the choice. The past track record of the rand selling the product must be checked. The quality of the kit is of prime importance or else it can have serious repercussion on the sexual health of the person using the instrument.
