Of the 218 that we began with, 61 said the entire move went well and they had no complaints. Of the remainder, 18 had filed insurance claims for damages and or loss of household furniture while the remainder 139 either said they were less than satisfied with the quality of service they received or were averagely satisfied with the quality. All 139 said they might not be inclined to re-hire the same furniture removalist service provider again. The 4 who had visited more than one website were part of these 61 who had no complaints as were 57 from amongst the 61 folks who had called up friends and relatives and selected the recommended removalist service provider. Make a note of their phone number and also what to ask for if and when you speak with them. Tip # 3 – Start making your calls selecting only those against whom you place a tick. Mention the preferred date and time, the destination and the items to be moved. Ask about the cost, inclusions and exclusions. Do they have downloadable sample contract? If you like what you hear, highlight their name on your list and request for a quotation. Tip # 4 – Google for reviews for each of the names of furniture removalist service provider you have highlighted. Tip # 5 – Shorten the list to one or two names based on the reviews you have read. Re-visit their website to make sure you have not missed anything and select one of them as your furniture removalist service provider.
